The Love Note: Book Review

Joanna Davidson Politano’s newest book, The Love Note, is one of my top five favorite books. Wow! This one was astounding, captivating, absolutely lovely. After I finished it, I clutched it close to me, wishing I could reread it again, but I had chores to do. Chores I put off to read this book.
Willa Duvall discovers a love note in her desk one day. Compelled by the passion of the note, she decides she will find the person who penned it. That takes her to Crestwicke Manor, a place that she had visited as a child.
I love how through the story the words of a single note can impact different people in different ways. It makes one realize how powerful words can be. I loved the style of writing in this book. And the elements of faith that are written in such a way it makes you contemplate your own spiritual life.
This was one of the most compelling stories I’ve read in awhile. It’s beautiful, filled with unique characters all with very different personalities. If you are looking for a book you can’t put down, that will leave you sighing at the end, go read The Love Note. I promise you won’t regret it.
