The Daughter Of Highland Hall : Book Review
The Daughter Of Highland Hall written by Carrie Turansky is one book you won’t want to put down, I know I didn’t put it down until the last page. This is the second book in the series, and picks right up where the last book left off.
Katherine Ramsey has prepared for months for the London social season, along with her aunt. But with a change of heart, a scandal, and a mystery her training for the social season is thrown off balance. As she finds faith, and searches on what the future holds. Johnathan, Julia’s brother, stays with them for the summer, and finds himself falling for the beautiful eldest daughter of highland hall. But will he choose to go back to the ministry in India or stay in London?
This book is full of beautiful details that will make you feel as if you are in London in 1912. With details from houses to gowns, when you finally put the book down you feel as if you were standing in that ball room, or in the park. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and i’m sad I have to wait a year till the next one comes out!
*I was given this book for free for my honest opinion
