Surprised By Love – Julie Lessman :Book Review
Surprised by love written by Julie Lessman, is a wonderful book that will have you glued to the pages until the very end. Written in such a way, this book will have you smelling the salty San Francisco air, and imagining the sounds of gulls. This third book in The Heart of San Francisco is beautifully written, with love, trust, forgiveness, and the bond of family.
Megan McClare comes home to San Francisco after a year in Paris. Transformed from the freckled faced girl with glasses to a beautiful young woman. As she chooses whether or not to go into law or medicine, she is given an internship at a law office that throws her in the path of the one man who mocked her in school. But her best friend, Bram Hughes, shows her that forgiveness is freeing. But will he push this girl now turned woman into the hands of another man?
I absolutely loved this book. Throughout this book you will see messages on trusting fully in God, and putting your dreams in His hands. Another theme in the book is about forgiveness and how freeing it can be when you forgive, or how destructive it can be when you hold on to anger and hatred.
If you are looking for a book with great characters, biblical references, and a lovely romance, this is the book for you!
*I was given this book for free for my honest opinion*
