My Dear Miss Dupré: Book Review

Once you crack open this book by Grace Hitchcock, you will not be able to put it down. My Dear Miss Durpé is captivating, entertaining, and a new favorite. It has a “bachelorette” feel if the bachelorette was made in the 1800s. From shimmering gowns to mystery and intrigue, this book has it all.

One of my favorite things about this book was how you really got to know some of the characters. As if they were now your best friends. And you may be rooting for a specific bachelor too. I loved this book. It was fun but with depth. I ended up reading this book within a day. I wasn’t able to put it down.

Grace Hitchcock is a new to me author. And I’m so glad I was able to read this book! I will be reading everything she writes now, and most likely re-reading this one as well. Her writing style will draw you into the story and before you know it you have read every single page, wondering why it has to end. I would definitely set aside enough time to read this all at once because you won’t want to put it down.

*I was given this book by the publisher for my honest review. All opinions are my own.
