Vegan Holiday Cooking Book Review : Pure Traditions. Vegan Holiday Cooking from Candle Cafe by Joy Pierson, Angel Ramos, and Jorge Pineda, is a great start to vegan cooking. Personally, I am not a vegan, but there are times when I like to cook vegan recipes. If you are a Vegan because of health reasons, this book may not be for you. They use a lot of oils, and processed vegan foods such as vegan cream cheeses, and lots of soy products. But if you are looking for some vegan recipes to start off with, this book is great. 

The images in this book are amazing, and the instructions are easy to follow. You will find mouth watering pictures and descriptions throughout this book. This book is a “looker” for sure, and even if you aren’t vegan, the pictures alone will make you want to try a few vegan dishes from this book.

Different holidays from Christmas to 4th of July are represented in this book. Here are some great idea’s you can’t find on Pinterest! If you have a guest over during a holiday that is vegan, this book is for you! Or if you are wanting to try a few meatless meals there are some great options in this book.
