To Capture Her Heart written by Rebecca DeMarino, is a wonderful, edge of your seat kind of book. Heather Flower, a princess of the Montauk tribe, is kidnapped on her wedding day. She is held for ransom, which is paid by an Englishman. She is rescued by the handsome Dutch Lieutenant Dirk Van Buren. But she is torn between a long friendship between Benjamin Horton and the handsome Lieutenant.
This is truly a unique book. This book takes you to a time period most authors don’t write about. Rebecca DeMarino whisks you away to an unsettled land where English and Dutch don’t get along, and settlements are just beginning. I enjoyed this book tremendously, and if you are looking for a great unique read, this is the book for you!
I was given this book for free for my honest review.
