Fruit Infused Water

   So today i made lemon blueberry infused water. I wanted to have some flavor without all the chemicals of store bought fruit flavored waters.

So this is what i did : 
  • Take 1 Lemon and squeeze juice and pulp into a glass 
  • Take a handful of blueberries and slightly squeeze them and put them in the glass
  • Let sit for a few hours in fridge. 
  Then you have a nice refreshing drink, plus added vitamins! It’s great for those warm summer days. 
You can add any fruit you want too! I wanted lemon for the detoxing benefits and blueberries for taste. Enjoy!

Strawberry Banana Oatmeal Smoothie

I love having oatmeal for breakfast, but sometimes heating it up in warm weather just isn’t that fun. But smoothies are! So i came up with a recipe for a smoothie that has raw oatmeal and fruit, plus omega 3’s! 

Strawberry banana Oatmeal smoothie
5 Strawberries
1 Banana
1/2 Cup Raw Organic Oatmeal
1/4 teaspoon organic vanilla extract
1 Tablespoon Chia Seeds
1/4 Cup Almonds
1/2 Cup Rice milk or Almond milk
1/2 Teaspoon cinnamon
3 Ice cubes
Grind oatmeal, Chia seeds and almonds till ground in a fine meal. Add fruit, spices, and milk and ice. Blend till smooth. Enjoy this Yummy breakfast smoothie!

Carrot Juice You Can’t Beet

Carrot Beet Juice
3 Carrots
1/2 Beet with Greens
3-5 Celery sticks
1 Apple

Juice and enjoy!

Well i will be ending my juice fast this week. I need time to adjust to eating solid food from not eating all week. So Wednesday i’ll be eating for the first time in a little over a week. I’m feeling great, more energy, and lost some weight. But i do look forward to eating solid food again. I got a new juicer on Friday. I got the Breville Juice fountain plus. It works way better than my old one! Way more juice from it too. Well that’s my little update for today! Happy Juicing!
